Thank you for taking the time to read the City of Chandler’s 2018 Annual Report. This report highlights the many exciting accomplishments, initiatives and accolades from the past year.

As the Innovation and Technology Hub of the Southwest, Chandler thrives on being a champion of innovation and emerging technologies. Through strong economic development efforts Chandler continues to attract leaders in technology, creating thousands of jobs for our residents.

We are one of the few cities in the nation with a AAA bond rating from all three rating agencies, we boast one of the lowest total cost of municipal services and taxes in the Valley and we continue to rank as one of the best places to work in the nation. Robust neighborhood programs, a multitude of community events and festivals and a growing mix of eclectic shopping and dining experiences contributed to Chandler being named one of the top places to live Arizona in 2018. Our quality of life is unmatched and I am proud of the efforts of our organization that make that happen.

As the pioneers of the future, we are excited to build on all we accomplished in 2018. As the new Mayor, I look forward to the opportunity to be part of making history in this great city.

Sincerely,

Chandler continues to be among the most prosperous, livable and safest cities in the country, earning national recognition for being among the best communities to locate and grow a business, find a job, own a home, rent property and raise a family.

Development of our employment corridors is creating destinations for economic growth and quality jobs as companies continue to locate and expand operations. In 2018, we have also added and improved parks, cultural facilities, street and water infrastructure and public safety facilities.

Team Chandler takes great pride in delivering quality municipal programs in the most cost effective manner and we are proud to share our 2018 accomplishments with the community.

Sincerely,
